The Art of Going Places With a Baby

The Art of Going Places With a Baby

There’s a moment after having a baby when leaving the house starts to feel like preparing for a small expedition.

Diapers.
Extra clothes.
Snacks.
Bottles.
Toys.
A stroller.

And somehow, half the contents of your kitchen.

We’ve been there.

And while we can’t promise that going out with a little one will ever be completely effortless, we do believe it can be a lot simpler.

Bring less. Go further.

That’s one of the ideas behind Hannie.

We wanted to create baby products that fit into family life rather than taking over it. Products that work at home, but also make sense when you're visiting friends, travelling, eating out or spending a day somewhere you didn't plan to be.

Because the best baby gear isn't necessarily the gear that does the most.

It's the gear that earns its place in your bag.

A high chair that comes with you

The Portable High Chair was designed around a simple idea:

Why bring a whole chair when you can bring yours?

Hannie attaches to a suitable dining chair, giving your baby or toddler a comfortable place at the table without adding another bulky piece of furniture to your home.

Designed for children from 6 months to 5 years, it grows with them and adapts to the way your family lives.

And when you're done?

It packs down and comes with you.

To the restaurant down the street.
To grandma and grandpa's house.
On holiday.
To the summer cottage.
Or simply to a friend's kitchen where, inevitably, there isn't a high chair.

Because the table is where life happens.

Some of our favourite memories aren't the big ones. They're the ordinary ones. A long lunch that turns into dinner. Your toddler stealing food from your plate. A baby discovering pasta for the first time. A family dinner that lasts twenty minutes longer than planned because nobody wants to leave.

These are the moments we design for.

Not perfect parenting.

Not picture-perfect homes.

Real family life.

Less stuff. More living.

We don't believe parents need more products.

We believe they need better ones.

That's why we're building Hannie around a simple philosophy: fewer, better baby products that give families more freedom – not more things to carry around.

The Portable High Chair is one of them.

A chair for everyday meals.
A chair for weekends away.
A chair for restaurants.
A chair for holidays.
A chair that grows with your child.

One less thing to worry about. One more reason to go somewhere. So pack the snacks. Forget the perfect schedule. Go somewhere.

We'll bring the chair.

With love,
Hannie
